ANIMAL CARE
Being an Animal Care Volunteer allows you the opportunity to gain immeasurable experience working directly with a diverse collection of animals. You will learn all the basic requirements in animal husbandry, like how to build enclosures, clean exhibits, prepare diets, distribute food, recognize health problems, administer medications, provide behavioral and physical exercise, and keep records. Spending time with the animals to see how your efforts benefit them makes this program incredibly fulfilling. The rewards are virtually endless. In addition, you can use your experience toward a potential career in the animal field or a paid position within this organization. The animals look to you for their daily care and maintenance.

SERVICE
A Service Volunteer is someone who has a special talent or trade that he or she is willing to donate to help the animals. There are numerous personal and professional services that are extremely useful in running an animal facility. Skills in the fields of carpentry, electrical, plumbing, clerical, computer programming, legal documentation, and grant writing, just to name a few, are always appreciated. Everyone has something to offer and the animals need you for help with essential projects.

SUPPORT
It takes a dedicated person to be a Support Volunteer. There are times when we require assistance with various tasks, such as distributing brochures and fliers, organizing booth exhibitions and fund-raisers, and providing creative ideas for advertising and events. The role you play is crucial to the success of our mission.
