At Animal Tracks, we’re always looking for new ways to connect our community—especially young people—with the natural world and the animals we work so hard to protect. That’s why we’re incredibly excited to share a sneak peek into our newest offering:

The Animal Tracks Summertime Kids & Family Tour: Little Trackers!

Launching (hopefully!) by July 1st

We’re transforming part of the sanctuary into an immersive, family-friendly experience that’s educational, enriching, and most of all—wildly fun! With just a few final touches left (like getting our new sign printed and recruiting a few more wonderful volunteers), we’re almost ready to welcome you!

What to Expect on Your Visit:

  • Barnyard Meet & Feed: Start your adventure at our welcoming barnyard. You’ll walk through to our feeding area, where guests can purchase equine food to feed our gentle donkeys and horse—a favorite for kids and adults alike!

  • Wolf Viewing Experience: From there, head over to our all-new Wolf Viewing Deck for a safe and awe-inspiring view of our rescued wolves. While there’s no direct contact, watching these majestic animals from up close is unforgettable.

  • Play, Color & Connect: In our designated kid-safe area, little ones will have the chance to color, play, and even take photos of our hybrid canines as they frolic. Every day will feature a rotating cast of surprise guests—maybe bunnies, maybe birds, maybe even a porcupine!

  • Relax & Refuel: Take a break at our picnic tables, enjoy a snack, and listen to the sounds of nature all around.

  • Cool Creatures Inside: Don't forget to check out our new tiny glass room, where ferrets will be on display—another great chance to learn about lesser-known exotic animals.

Tour Details:

  • Admission: $20 for adults | $12 for kids

  • Hours: Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 10 AM to 4 PM

  • Location: Animal Tracks, Inc.

  • Booking: Coming soon at www.animaltracksinc.org

This new tour is designed to gently introduce children to the beauty and responsibility of caring for wildlife while offering a meaningful day for the whole family. As always, our focus remains on animal welfare, safety, and education. There are no animal encounters or petting of exotic species—but there will be plenty of moments that inspire wonder!

We can’t wait to see you this summer for a day you’ll never forget. Stay tuned, spread the word, and follow us on social media for updates as we count down to launch day!

Keep The World Wild,

The Animal Tracks Team
