At our sanctuary, every animal is family—and right now, two of our beloved seniors, Monzo the serval and Turbo the Patagonian mara, urgently need your support.

Earlier today, both Monzo and Turbo visited the vet for essential care, and we want to share their stories with you so you can understand how much your generosity means to them—and to us.

Turbo’s Dental Challenges

Turbo is our sweet, elderly Patagonian mara who has been with us for many years. Like many animals, he has special health needs as he ages. Over the past two months, Turbo’s upper teeth have worn down so significantly—simply a result of old age—that they no longer align properly with his lower teeth. Because of this, his lower teeth keep growing unchecked, and they now require trimming every couple of months so he can eat comfortably and stay healthy.

This morning, Turbo underwent a full dental procedure to trim his lower teeth. Thanks to our incredible veterinary team, he came through safely and is now resting comfortably. But these regular dentals are costly—and necessary—to keep Turbo thriving.

Monzo’s Battle with Bone Cancer

Monzo is a true miracle: at 21 years old, he’s one of the oldest servals we’ve ever known. His long life is a testament to the love and care he receives every day. But recently, we noticed a sudden mass appearing on his right front leg. We rushed him to the vet for examination, and the diagnosis was heartbreaking: the mass is bone cancer.

For now, our focus is on keeping Monzo comfortable and pain-free. He will be on strong pain medication to help him maintain his quality of life, and we’re closely monitoring the mass with the hope that it won’t grow further. Every day with Monzo is precious, and we’re committed to giving him the best care possible.

Why Your Support Matters

Vet visits like these are some of the biggest and most important expenses for our sanctuary, alongside food and daily care. But we can’t do this alone—your donations are what make it possible for animals like Monzo and Turbo to receive the urgent medical attention they need.

Every contribution, no matter the size, helps cover veterinary costs, medications, specialized diets, and the day-to-day expenses of running our sanctuary. Together, we can give these animals the love, comfort, and dignity they deserve in their golden years.

Please consider making a donation today to help us pay for Monzo and Turbo’s care. Your support makes a real, life-changing difference.

From all of us—and especially from Monzo and Turbo—thank you for being part of our compassionate community!

Keep The World Wild,

The Animal Tracks Team
